Since 2017, the Broomfield Council has made it increasingly more expensive to live in Broomfield.
Compared to 2017, Broomfield will increase per-person spending by 186% in 2026, this equates to $7,722 per person. (vs $2,702 per person in 2017). (link to details)
In 2026, Broomfield’s estimated debt will be $510M. Broomfield plans to use $283.5M of bond proceeds to fund 32% of the 2026 budget.
Compared to 2023, Broomfield Council is taking 13.6% more in property taxes. Water rates will increase by 133% by 2028.
