Our primary goal is to “Empower citizens to ask the hard questions, demand truth and accuracy, and request changes in the public policies.”  Part and parcel to that objective is an engaged and active citizenry. 

To that end, we strive to provide a place for citizens, voters, residents, taxpayers, and property owners to weigh in on the policies of the government of the City and County of Broomfield.

We are interested in conversing with our fellow citizens, and we encourage them to become active participants in insisting accountability in their local government. 

Broomfield Taxpayer Matters is organized as a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

Broomfield Taxpayer Matters educates Broomfield City and County taxpayers on local issues that impact us civically and financially.

Broomfield Taxpayer Matters is not associated, affiliated, or funded by any political party or political party organization.

Broomfield Taxpayer Matters cannot advocate for or against the election of any political candidates.
